We are delighted to announce the successful completion of The Philharmonic Brass’s historic debut tour in Mainland China!
From Beijing to Hangzhou, the ensemble—comprised of principal musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic—presented two spectacular concerts, marking a significant moment in cultural exchange between China and Austria.
🎶 A particularly moving highlight was the encore performance of My Country, a beloved Chinese melody, specially arranged for this tour. The heartfelt rendition touched audiences deeply and resonated as a beautiful symbol of friendship between our peoples.
Beyond the stage, the launch of the“Philharmonic Brass Young Artist Development Program”brought world-class musicians together with emerging Chinese brass talents for masterclasses, fostering artistic dialogue and long-term collaboration.
This tour was more than a concert series—it was a bridge of music, friendship, and shared cultural understanding, celebrated in this 55th anniversary year of diplomatic relations between China and Austria.
