Rückblick auf die Residency der französischen Compagnie La Norma
Vom 13. bis zum 21. April arbeiteten Martina Monnicchi, Sofia Zambrano, Yann Champelovier, Nathalie Maufroy und Victor Marre-Cast im Rahmen von an ihrem neuen Stück „Scandale“.
Die Produktion hinterfragt das Konzept der Normalität, ausgehend von der Prämisse, dass nichts von Natur aus skandalös ist. Erst die Rezeption, die Reaktion, der Blick des Publikums machen eine Handlung zum Skandal.
Mit Luftakrobatik an Seil, Vertikaltuch und Trapez dekonstruieren die drei Künstlerinnen den Begriff der Norm. Sie bringen jene flüchtigen Momente des Unverständnisses auf die Bühne, für die im Alltag kaum Platz bleibt und laden dazu ein, dem Fremden mit Neugier statt mit Misstrauen zu begegnen.

The project interrogates the concept of normality, grounded in the premise that nothing is inherently scandalous; it is the reception, the reaction, and the gaze of the audience that transform an act into a scandal.
Through aerial work on rope, silks, and trapeze, the artists deconstruct the notion of the ‘norm’. They bring those fleeting moments of misunderstanding to the stage – moments that rarely find space in our daily lives – inviting us to encounter the unknown with curiosity rather than apprehension.
