Captivating timeless and largest exhibition of over 80 works by Tetsuya Ishida (1973 - 2005) ‘My Anxious Self’, on view 24th street, curated by Cecilia Alemani.

Over the course of just ten years, Ishida produced a striking body of work centered on the theme of human alienation. He emerged as an artist during Japan’s “Lost Decade,” a recession that lasted through the 1990s, and his paintings capture the feelings of hopelessness, claustrophobia, and disconnection that characterized Japanese society during this time.

A special experience of the installation of Hank Willis Thomas exhibition ‘Another Justice’ at the . These new works by the artist, investigate the fabric of our nation, literally and figuratively, beginning with the deconstruction of U.S. flags and prison uniforms.
The works are addressing an enduring, uniquely American question: “Can bars represent liberty while so many people are confined behind them?”
After visiting personally the NYSDOC Wallkill Correctional Facility with the foundation, a few weeks ago, Hank’s art influenced by social history and the fight for equality, left an ever lasting impression.
