✨QUARTERLY REPORT 🎨Q1 2026 ✨

We’re back with our numbers, our wins & learnings, because together- we grow! We did not stop reporting, we’ve been documenting everything, ‘cuz data brings to picture the wins, the patterns, the lesson and the room to improve and grow as a business.

Presenting, our Q1 report that documents our progress from January 2026 to March 2026.

☃️The SLOWWW Months
Every gastronomy business will tell you that Jan-Feb are the months where you rainy day savings could be put to use. For us, it was true to the word.
We did not end 2025 or begin 2026 on the best note- with the heating failure and Google Business Profile suspension. It took the end of holiday season and a good 14 business days for the profile to be reinstated. Even when the profile was restored, the trend of the season was not exactly what we had gotten used to, which called for immense patience.

🏖️Our FIRST operational break
It took some nerves to take our first 2-week operational break (28.01-09.02) after the month that was. But having shown up repeatedly for the last 20 months, this certainly was a well earned break- to relax, recharge and reset to do better.

🎨Art Café
Despite the slow pick up, we were extremely happy to welcome over 80 participants for our art menu- some solo, some with friends and some in groups brought in their best creative energies bringing alive colorful works of art.
In the coming months, the goal is to welcome more participants and increase our art menu offerings.

🌸MARCH-ing Well!
Jan-Feb was cold, snowy & a tad bit crazy! March brought the flowers, the sunshine & more people back for their coffees & cakes. In every sense March saw approximately 60% rise in footfall (thus sales).

🔜What’s next?
Art Café expansion, Summer Menu & a very special new product launch that we have quietly been working on!

DECEMBER 2025 REPORT 🎄🎅🏼 |

December started off pretty well! Despite the cold and the Christmassy vibes in the city, a warm refuge, delicious coffee, cakes and toasties had their fans and ensured some familiar and many new faces at the café. Closer to the holiday period, there was a drop in footfall. (We’d also hold the weather responsible for it).

However, with the on-going holidays we hit some technical snags, which hurt us more than we’d like to admit.
Our heating broke-down on the holiday weekend and an attempt to fix the holiday hours on Google Maps led to an AI flagged suspension of our re:kaffee business profile.
Despite operating through the holidays, fewer tourists could discover us.
Thankfully, the heating problem was resolved by our hausvervaltung, but Google is taking longer than we expected.

All of this, did force a personal slow down for us as we took time to reflect- personally & work wise to improve & grow in the new year!

👣Total footfall took a hit in the last week, being significantly lower than November, a total of 1327 guests walking through our door. 977 chose to eat-in, 264 chose take-out and deliveries and 30 guests showed up for activities & private events.

☕️We sold a total of 1254 beverages, of which 1188 were hot beverages 🔥Cappuccino (309), Lattés (271), Espresso-Doppio and Macchiato (143) and Indian Masala Chai (104) retaining the top spots.

🍰Our signature Pistachio Safran Cake (156) and the Classic Vegan Chocolate cake (96) were the top selling munchies.

🥪Toasties (183) stay consistent despite all the drama- Double Cheese Toasties (49), Bombay Veggie Grill (33), and Cheese Chutney Toastie (30).

The beginning of the new year brought back a smile in the form of many familiar faces walking in with good wishes for the new year, whilst coming back for their old favorites :)

It has taken us a while, but we’re happy to acknowledge our blindspots, improve, grow and continue cherishing this amazing community that makes this whole process worth every bit of it!

❄️NOVEMBER 2025 REPORT❄️

Favorite part of November- It finally snowed in Vienna ❄️🥳 It’s getting colder, the festive season is here and yet, we managed to sustain and possible grow a little since last month. Nonetheless, November was special!

👣Total footfall was slightly lower than October, but we had a total of 1665 guests walking through our door. Of which, a marginal majority of 1236 chose to eat-in, 330 chose take-out and deliveries and 60 guests showed up for activities & private events.

☕️We sold a total of 1577 beverages, of which 1507 were hot beverages 🔥Cappuccino (426), Lattés (345), Espresso-Doppio and Macchiato (173) and Indian Masala Chai (154) taking the top chunk.

🍰Our signature Pistachio Safran Cake (195) and the Classic Vegan Chocolate cake (141) were the top selling munchies.

🥪Toasties (208) saw a relative rise in sales with consistent top picks- Double Cheese Toasties (66), Cheese Chutney Toastie (39) and Bombay Veggie Grill (37).

🥙We also hosted a weekend-long, Disha Tupe’s Indian Crostini pop-up celebrating a modern take on classic Indian flavors.

🥳 On the event front, we hosted more private events & birthdays, and it was an absolute joy watching the space come alive with art, creativity & celebratory vibes.

🧸We also hosted Playdates by for young ones. Our little guests enjoyed the shared space, toys and making new friends along with their parents!

✨November was special! It was consistent, joyous, cozy and filled with coffee and warmth! ♥️
