Let us catch up on our blog posts:)

Katya’s “The Language of Presence” articulates that meaning doesn’t rely only on a shared language, it also emerges from attention, timing, and the quality of presence between people.

The piece reflects on what allows communication to happen on stage: listening beyond words, trusting physicality, and embracing ambiguity.

BRIDGES at Improvidence Lyon

From tearing up Paris in January to setting stages across Europe on fire, BRIDGES has been moving like a beautifully chaotic conversation that refuses subtitles.

Lyon, thank you for the warmth, the energy, and the kind of attention that makes performers braver than they should be. Improvidence, you turned the room into a living experiment:)

Scroll on for fragments, flashes, and the afterglow of a very loud idea. More photos from the shows to come:)

Until the next stage. BRIDGES 🌍

What happens when someone attends a theatre performance without understanding a single word of the language—yet still feels deeply connected?

The article by London-based Brazilian journalist Patricia Gomes captures exactly this experience: improvisation as more than a theatrical form—it becomes a shared language.

A language of presence, active listening, and co-creation.
A way of connecting beyond words, across cultures and backgrounds.

This is also at the heart of our Bridges project, where improvisation becomes a bridge between people who don’t share the same spoken language—yet still find ways to understand each other, collaborate, and create together.

Working with international ensembles across Europe, we explore how theatre and improvisation can foster connection, trust, and mutual understanding—without relying on words.

The article reflects this beautifully: this work is about collective intelligence and the creative potential within uncertainty. Thank you for your reflections, Patricia!
