Several of you noticed my absence over the past months and reached out to ask if I was okay. That meant a lot to me, so I wanted to share what has been going on.
For years this account has been my little fantasy world. A place where I created whatever came to my mind, tried crazy ideas, collaborated with wonderful people and shared magical places in nature.
What many people didn’t see behind the scenes is that my dogs were always there with me. Almost every location I photographed was discovered during long walks or road trips with them.
After losing Bolt last year, something in me changed in a way I didn’t expect. It broke my heart, but it also made me realize how precious these moments really are — and how important it is to capture the bond we share with our dogs while we still can.
One moment that really opened my eyes was the first — and sadly last — professional photoshoot I had with Bolt. Those images were taken by & , and I still look at them almost every week.
, thank you for inspiring me so much over the past months. We’ve shared wonderful shoots and projects together, and I’m incredibly grateful for your kindness, openness and the way you support other artists.
Over the past months I started experimenting more with dog photography, and to my surprise my first images were already honored in photography awards.
I could never leave the fantasy worlds I love behind. Instead, I want to bring them into this new direction.
My dream is to create dreamy fine art portraits of dogs and the humans who love them.
So this isn’t really a goodbye.
It’s simply the beginning of a new chapter.
And before that chapter begins, I just want to say thank you — for the love, the support, and all the magic we created together here. To everyone who followed along, collaborated with me, or trusted me with their vision.
