"Authentic Learning Environments follow the unique pace and interests of the Learner.

When we are children and we first step into a classroom, we give up the right to follow what interests us, we swap the clothing of our choice and expression for a uniform, we have to seek permission for basic bodily functions such as toileting when we need to go, water when we are thirsty and food when we are hungry. When we enter the classroom, we are told when to move and when to stay still, when to play and when to work - and that these are two different things.

Why? Because we are to be taught 'the curriculum', a collection of information and skills delivered in measurable doses by one teacher to a large group of children during the formative years of a child's life. Many children have put aside their authentic self in those formative years in the name of the one-size-fits-all curriculum. Only to have to find themselves later in life.

Imagine an education setting that worked with each learner's Authentic Self and wrote that into the learners own Personal Curriculum. Through Personal Curriculums we empower the child that they may never lose themselves."

I really want to help and was looking for ways of doing so as my dear team proposed to go online, what I usually don’t do, because I want to be with you in person.
