Costa Rica Recap 🇨🇷
The last stop of this journey was Costa Rica.
This started with us being at the border in no mans land for over 5h,
waiting for the immigration system to get back online since it hat some issues.
Once we got through we got the bus right on time to get to La Fortuna.😊😄
This was our first stop in C.R. and we enjoyed it very much. We spent the first days exploring the town and seeing lots of Iguanas. Then we decided to rent a car and explore the countryside of Arenal, which is the name of the Area, which got the name from the Volcano that is located there.🌋
Also there is a thermal river with a lot of thermal baths, where we managed to find one that was very cheap and
very nice. We could relax there and spent a whole day just hanging around in the warm water.🌊
The following days we also went to Mistico Park, a national park with hanging bridges, where on clear days you get to see lots of animals, unfortunately on the day we went it was pouring like hell and we didn’t get to see any animals just some snakes and lizards.🦎 🐍
The rest of the week we stayed in town and had some chill out time for ourselves, before heading to our last stop.
Samara, a small Village located in the province of Guanacaste, this was the nicest stay we had in the past 9 months, we had an amazing time the Airbnb we booked was cozy and the owners were very kind and it kinda felt like home.🏠
We spent most of the time hanging out in our room and at the beach, but we did some nice tours as well.
One of these was the Turtle Nesting Tour where hundreds of Turtles will come to the beach and lay their eggs.🐢
This was an amazing experience to witness.
The other one was a Bioluminescent Kayak Tour, which we did at night, you saw the water glowing when you put your hand inside or swam inside, this was unreal, I felt like I was in James Cameron Avatar.
The last days we spent to look back on our journey and the past 9 months.😊
This was an amazing Journey and I enjoyed it very much, although I can‘t wait to be back home.
Thanks for reading all my recaps, I hope you enjoyed my posts.🙏🏼❤️😄
