🌟 Reflecting on an Amazing Season of Konzert Nouveau while also looking forward to the concerts in 2025 ! 🌟
As we gear up for the new season of Konzert Nouveau, I wanted to take a moment to look back at our incredible concert in November 2024 KONZERT NOUVEAU III.2 @ Shakespeare Salzburg and thanks to the amazing hospitality and endurance of Wolfgang Schwaiger and huge support from Stadt Salzburg.at
It was a night filled with unforgettable performances and inspiring moments, all under the guiding theme of Harmonia:
A new composition from Marius Malanetchi, conducted by Thibault Back and played by the members of the great, new Salzburg based ensemble The Van Swietens and 4 gamba players Nagy Hervai-d'Elhoungne Moreau and the composer himself.
The unusual form they frequently use when presenting modern music is a format where the composition is played once after which a discussion with the composer and the audience takes place and the musicians then play the piece again, with a changed perspective of everybody involved.
A multi-disciplined artist and colleague from Universität Mozarteum Fonseca Alfonso gave his contribution from his homeland Columbia in a form of a video installation that left me thinking about how constructive and grateful we can be as humans.
The concert of ''The Smokin' Slavs'', a project of the musical couple Filip Brezovsek - /clarinet and guitar/ and Saša Brezovšek / lead vocal/ was a feast of jazz, soul, original and covered music that was a delight to be a part of as a violinist and singer-songwriter!
We had the best keys player in the whole town and wider Angelov, Krušić on bass guitar and Verlić on drums (rocking it after a 3 years brake)!
