We’re introducing the six members of our jury one by one, who are currently in the process of selecting the winners of this year’s Rotlicht festival open call!

István Virágvölgyi (*1982, Budapest) is a curator, photography expert, and Artistic Director of the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest.
With a background in photo editing, photography history, and archival work, he has worked as a curator, lecturer, and editor in the field of photography. He is also involved with the Fortepan digital photo archive and serves as editor of the Weekly Fortepan blog.

We’re introducing the six members of our jury one by one, who are currently in the process of selecting the winners of this year’s Rotlicht festival open call!

Wiktoria Michałkiewicz, PhD Wiktoria Michałkiewicz is an interdisciplinary arts and culture strategist with international experience in creative strategy, talent development, and global partnerships. Holding five degrees from six European universities, including a PhD in Sociology, she has worked as a contributing editor for National Geographic, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vogue, while producing exhibitions and collaborating with leading photographers, festivals, and cultural institutions worldwide.

Sabina Salamon is a curator specializing in contemporary art, photography, and new media. She currently serves as curator at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, where she oversees the Photography and New Media collections. With a background in philosophy and art history, she is committed to interdisciplinary curatorial practice and fostering international collaborations that promote Croatian artists.

We’re introducing the six members of our jury one by one, who are currently in the process of selecting the winners of this year’s Rotlicht festival open call!

Reiner Riedler Reiner Riedler is an Austrian photographer and filmmaker. His documentary and conceptual work explores the margins of society, human longings and the fragility of existence.
His works have been exhibited internationally in renowned museums and at photography festivals. Alongside his artistic practice, Riedler teaches documentary photography in Switzerland and is actively involved as a co-founder of several cultural initiatives as well as being the founder of the photobook label Reflektor.

We’re introducing the six members of our jury one by one, who are currently in the process of selecting the winners of this year’s Rotlicht festival open call!

Miriam Marzura (born in Bolzano in 1988) lives and works in Vienna. She is a curator and cultural practitioner. She completed her Master‘s degree in the ‚Educating / Creating / Managing‘ programme at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
Since 2017, she has been in charge of the exhibition programme at the Leica Gallery Vienna.

We’re introducing the six members of our jury one by one, who are currently in the process of selecting the winners of this year’s Rotlicht festival open call!

Let’s start by introducing this year’s chief juror Miha Colner Miha Colner. Miha is an art historian who works as curator at Galerija Božidar Jakac - Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Kostanjevica na Krki, Slovenia. He is also active as a lecturer and publicist in the extended field of visual art and culture.
