Summer is almost over but the sunny days are still here and we should enjoy them as much as possible! That's why we are organizing an open air Brunch at our with a botanical drawing session! We have a nice plant assortment that's just waiting for you to be portrayed 😉

Hi!!! I'm currently struggling with a really bad "banding" problem, which has suddenly appeared with files that I used to be able to print well... have any of you experienced this? The printer is a GR 3770 linked with a SC7950, prints are sent through ethernet cable. the printhead works well (except two dead pixels), but prints from the glass are fine as well as the SC7950 self-test page. The problem appears to exist only with halftone prints, ABS prints looked ok (but i didn’t test it extensively).

Hear hear! It’s that (wonderful?) time of the year again, and we‘re throwing our second winter market !
If you are gonna fall for consumerism this year (we will all do anyway), at least do it in a stilish and supporting way by purchasing cool stuff from small artists and producers… you can even see it as an investment: we can guarantee you, anything you buy here will be more worth than any NFT in the next 30 years or so anyway…
So come by on the 3. of December in the Darwingasse 23, warm your hands and heart with some glühwein and do some tipsy shopping of fine selected printed matters!

(For those wondering, the protagonist of our flyer this year is Andrea Mantegna, credited as one of the first artists using etching as an artistic technique!)

What is Monotype?
Monotype is actually not a single technique but rather a series of techniques, united by the fact that they produce unique and unrepeatable results (hence the name).
It can produce wonderful detailed prints of botanical elements as well as abstract compositions without too much hassle: the perfect start into the world of art printing!

Curious? Join us at the monotype workshop next tuesday (Jan 24th)… There are still some spots left!
