The „weyrerTon“ is a studio located in Innsbruck/Austria.

It has been built in 2011, in an 100 year old factory building. The „weyrerTon“ is a project studio designed for the needs of professional musicians and their creative workflow. It provides a Recording room with 13 square meters and a top-notch acoustic treatment. Further it's control room has analog console with 96 inputs of the austrian broadcast company "acousta". The highly professional acoust

ic design makes every mixdown session a pleasure. Its living room is the best place to chill out, free your mind or refresh yourself after an exhausting recording session. Through its huge windows you see a small river flowing and a lot of green nature growing. The „weyrerTon“ is not just a place to record your tracks, but also a place to support your creativity.

The 17 square meter studio is designed as an allround recording and mixing environment. No matter wether you want to record a vocal, a guitar or mix your songs to be master-ready, our Production Suite provides professional acoustic treatment, technical equipment and an inspiring vibe. Further you have access to the lounge as well as a fully equipped kitchen to refill the batteries, chill and relax while taking a break.

In addition you will get assistance from our staff for setting up your individual setup to meet your needs and sound expectations.

Look what we have put together!.. 😍
The wonderful musicians Julia Costa & Martin Bayer recorded three old Christmas songs in our cozy sounding studio A. It has been a great pleasure to work on those classics and even a greater pleasure to finally share them with you!
We have chosen the great format of a Vinylpostcard, which means that you can play it on your record player as well as digital within the App or via download. Send the card to your beloved ones or just keep it to yourself and be delighted by the music.
Julia and Martin have chosen "Es wird scho glei dumpa", "Stille Nacht" in a swiss-german version as well as "Maria durch ein Dornwald ging". The simple yet beautiful artwork, an aquarelle Christmas tree is also painted by Julia.

Every time we mic up this beauty of a grand, we try to capture the massive sound it delivers, in the best way suited for the production it contributes to.
This time we were looking for a roomy, dreamy sound.. a little spaced out even. And we found it by placing a C34 in MS , 1,5m away looking towards the middle of the strings. 😍
