In Zusammenarbeit mit dem ZEISS Museum der Optik in Oberkochen entstand die App Explore ZEISS. Historische Meilensteine – vom ersten Foto der Erde vom Mond über Amundsens Antarktis-Expedition bis zur Beobachtung einer Zellteilung – werden in interaktiven 3D-Szenen und AR erlebbar. Wir freuen uns über dieses gelungene Projekt, bei dem wir selbst viel gelernt haben.

The Explore ZEISS app was developed in collaboration with the ZEISS Museum of Optics in Oberkochen. Historical milestones—from the first photo of Earth taken from the moon to Amundsen’s Antarctic expedition to the observation of cell division—can be experienced in interactive 3D scenes and AR. We are delighted with this successful project, from which we ourselves have learned a great deal.

Ein spannendes Projekt, das wir gemeinsam mit ZEISS umsetzen durften. Wir haben viel über den ZEISS-Kosmos gelernt – und hatten Spaß, die Geschichten, die das Unternehmen prägen, mitzuerzählen.

Der neue 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐞𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐬, initiiert vom Tourismusverband Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, macht schwer beobachtbare Wildtiere durch Augmented Reality erlebbar. Wanderer können Fuchs, Hase, Steinbock, Adler, Reh, Hirsch und Geier virtuell in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung sehen – ohne sie zu stören. Grundlage dafür sind Laserscans und 3D-Modelle, u.a. basierend auf Scans aus dem Archiv des Tiroler Landesmuseums. Mit der kostenlosen „Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis“-App ist der Weg von Juni bis Oktober begehbar und bietet der ganzen Familie eine lehrreiche Erfahrung.

The 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 in Fiss, initiated by the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Association, uses Augmented Reality to bring rarely seen animals to life. Hikers can virtually observe foxes, hares, ibexes, eagles, deer, stags, and vultures in their natural habitat without disturbing them. The visuals are based on laser scans and 3D models partly created using scans from the Tyrolean State Museum archive. With the free "Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis" app, the trail is open from June to October and offers an educational experience for the whole family.

We feel like dancing!

Check out our App Wood goes Europe – a project that is associated with Salzkammergut 2024. Together with our friends from Forstverein Oberösterreich & Salzburg and forest ambassador Hermine Hackl, we came up with an edutaining collection of 3D models, characters and special points of interest that give you insights into forest topics that will reveal an unknown truth.

Exciting news! “The Crow” is officially being released today, with the German premiere taking place in Munich. We’re proud to have played a part in bringing the movie to life by creating 3D scans and virtual production sets for VFX. Keep an eye out for the scenes at the Prague Opera House, for example. And of course, Bill Skarsgård’s performance as the dark and intense Eric Draven is definitely worth watching!

Wasserkraft erlebbar machen – das war unser Ziel mit der App ‘TIWAG erneuerbare plus Kühtai’. Die mobile, offline-fähige Applikation befähigt UserInnen, zu entdecken, was sich bei einem Wasserkraftwerk sowohl oberhalb als auch unterhalb der Erdoberfläche abspielt. Von Turbinen bis hin zu Generatoren wird Schritt für Schritt eindrucksvoll gezeigt, wie Strom erzeugt und gespeichert wird. Das alles wird durch starke Bilder transportiert: alle 3D-Geländemodelle und Maschinen sind interaktiv und können in AR platziert werden.

Die App ist im Appstore und im Google Play Store frei zugänglich.

Bringing hydropower to life - that was our goal with the 'TIWAG erneuerbare plus Kühtai' app. The mobile, offline-capable application enables users to discover what happens at a hydropower plant both above and below the earth's surface. From turbines to generators, it impressively shows step by step how electricity is generated and stored. All of this is conveyed through powerful images: all 3D terrain models and machines are interactive and can be placed in AR.

The app is available for free in the Appstore and Google Play Store.
