Bark is a song by Kris. For him, it’s all about the groove and what happens through the collective interplay and improvisation—laid-back, yet still bold and demanding. He still hasn’t quite found the sound he has in mind, but that’s the beauty of it: the journey. And considering that this was only the third time he performed it together with the band, he can only say that he is excited for everything that is still to come.

Centered around the work of guitarist Kris Stipsich, this newly formed trio with bassist Nico Fischer and drummer Thorsten Seidl moves between composition and improvisation. The three share a long history of playing together, forming the basis for a deep musical connection.
Kris’s playing is influenced by blues and rock, grounded in jazz where improvisation plays an essential role. It is not pure jazz, but an open form of music shaped by interaction and spontaneity. With Nico Fischer and Thorsten Seidl, this trio is where his ideas find their form.
At its core lies communication: ideas emerge in real time through close listening, balancing structure and freedom.
