onQ has emerged as an initiative by several musicians in 2020 who kept on making music in times of "social distancing" - circumstances which, on the other hand, may have contributed to the creation of new music & a festival - to be continued this year!

OPEN CALL! onQ invites composers to apply for a new composition commission for a 40–45-minute work for tentet. The selected work will be premiered at the Haus der Musik Innsbruck, followed by a performance at Porgy & Bess Vienna.
Commission fee: €10,000
Applications are open until 1 September 2026.

OnQ läutet den Sommer mit einem Impro Konzert im öffentlichen Raum ein. Im Rahmen des Alsergrunder Kultursommers präsentieren wir ein Quartett auf der wunderhübschen Strudlhofstiege. Ein paar kühle Drinks gibt’s auch. Be there! 🙃
