PIT BANZHAF is a German songwriter, producer, vocal coach, and educator based in Vienna. Blending live looping, piano, synthesizers, samples, and vocals, he creates atmospheric performances where ambient, electronica, and indie pop meet. At Camp Nocturno, Pit will perform a solo live looping set before elev, his duo project with Katrin Spiegel, gently guiding the audience from the quiet of the night into the first light of dawn.

HORNSOMMER ENSEMBLE brings together young horn players from across Europe, joined by members of the Wiener Horn Ensemble and Männergesangsverein Walhalla zum Seidlwirt. As part of the Hornsommer Drosendorf masterclass, the ensemble explores the rich tradition of the French horn through chamber music and contemporary repertoire. At Camp Nocturno, they will present excerpts from their newly developed concert program, Europe – United Songs, bringing the festival to a radiant close with a special morning matinee.

KATRIN SPIEGEL is an Austrian vocalist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist living in Croatia, exploring the expressive possibilities of the human voice through ambient composition, improvisation, and deep listening. Her work moves beyond language, weaving together voice, nature, and sound into immersive performances that invite stillness and presence. At Camp Nocturno, she will appear in three different formats: opening the festival with a guided soundwalk that invites you to connect deeply with your surroundings through sound and resonance, performing solo concert with loop improvisations during the night, and welcoming the sunrise together with her duo elev.

EMILY SARSAM is an artist and researcher working across sound, poetry, speculative fiction, performance, and sculpture. She is co-host of the radio show Tunisian Naive Society, broadcast on Radio Flouka, Radio alHara, and NTS. At Camp Nocturno, Emily will open the festival with a live radio show, setting the tone for a night of deep listening, slow transitions, and shared imagination.

SCHLOSS DROSENDROF
a hidden gem in Austria’s Waldviertel

First mentioned in 1180, Schloss Drosendorf was built as part of the medieval town fortifications and rebuilt in its present Baroque form after a fire in 1694. Over the centuries it passed through the hands of several noble families, including the House of Hoyos and turned into a hotel. For the last years run by a young team Sebastian Müller, Kaspar Heidler and Sophia Rieder.

Drosendorf is one of Austria’s best-preserved medieval towns. Encircled by almost entirely intact medieval town walls and overlooking the wild Thaya Valley. Beyond its rich history, Drosendorf is surprisingly vibrant: the castle is the home of Landuni , in the town you can find a jazz cellar, an independent cinema, outdoor swimming pools, artisan ice cream, cafés, local festivals, and everything you would hope to find in a thriving small town.
