— During 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘇 2025, Olafur Eliasson’s installation “STARBRICK” was presented in collaboration with .

Developed by Eliasson and his studio together with Zumtobel, the Starbrick is a modular lighting sculpture designed to function both as an autonomous object and as a building unit for larger spatial structures. Its geometric configurations, from suspended forms to wall-like assemblies, invited visitors to reflect on how light defines space, shaping perception, atmosphere, and the politics of visibility.

—Opening today (13.11) at : “Bucolica” by Anna Hulačová.

With “Bucolica”, Anna Hulačová (.hulacova) creates a world infused with ancient narrative traditions, mythological symbolism and references to art history, while engaging deeply with themes of agriculture and ecology. Her sculptures take the form of hybrid beings and machines, crafted from concrete, ceramics, wood and honeycomb. In an exciting interplay of industrial aesthetics and natural materials, the artist explores in a formally playful manner the depths of the conflict between idealisation and industrialisation of agriculture, civilisation and nature, community and individualism, tradition and progress.

In her œuvre, the Czech artist develops a dualism out of the tension between utopia and dystopia in the themes of ecology and agriculture, reflecting the conflict between pessimism and optimism towards the current and future state of the world.

Anna Hulačová (*1984) lives and works in Prague. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, she has exhibited at institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, Fondation Louis Vuitton, National Gallery Prague, and participated in major events including the Aichi Triennial (2019) and Art Encounters Biennial (2021).

📌 The exhibition “Bucolica” by Anna Hulačová at Kunstraum Dornbirn will remain on view until March 1st, 2026.

—Opening today (10.10) at : ███████

Upon being invited to exhibit at Kunsthaus Bregenz in autumn 2025, the artist decided to withdraw their identity. Not as a retreat but as a method: an intentional refusal of the economies of authorship, legacy, and visibility.

While anonymity can be used as a tool for the dissemination of ideas without censorship or repercussions on a position of “dissent”; anonymity here questions the motivations of authorship and its subsequent economies. If there is no distinguishable entity or person(s) for the work to be ascribed to, then the impetus for creating the work must revise the mode of production, aesthetic sensibilities, and lines of inquiry related to previous work. What remains is an anti-capitalist proposition that infiltrates the infrastructure that identity offers in an art-historical and cultural landscape.

███████ is facilitated by a group of unnamed person(s). The internal team at Kunsthaus Bregenz have signed a nondisclosure agreement to protect the identities of those involved.

📌 The exhibition ███████ at Kunsthaus Bregenz will remain on view until January 18th, 2026.

— During 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘇 2025, artist presented an exhibition in collaboration with the Bludenz-based ceramics studio .

Working closely with KARAK’s team, Crebolder developed a series of new objects, including the beginnings of a tile pattern, that merged the studio’s signature black clay and Raku firing with her refined geometric sensibility. The result was a dialogue between tradition and contemporary design, where bold materiality met delicate precision.

—Opening today at : „Quale – zirkeln, flimmen“ by

DOCK 20 presents “Quale – zirkeln, flimmen”, the first solo exhibition in Austria by Leipzig-based artist Maja Behrmann. For this occasion, Behrmann transforms the spaces of DOCK 20 into a sensory field of experimentation. Sculptures, collages, paintings, and drawings condense into vibrant ensembles that resist reduction to individual works, instead unfolding as immersive spatial experiences. The exhibition title “Quale” refers to the subjective quality of perception—experiences such as color, sound, or taste that cannot be fully translated into language. Behrmann takes up this philosophical concept by creating environments that can only be grasped through direct, immediate experience.

Maja Behrmann (*1993) lives and works in Leipzig. She studied painting and graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig and continued as a master student at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, Halle. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions internationally, including at AKI Gallery in Taipei, the University Gallery of Applied Arts in Vienna, Kunsthalle Charlottenburg in Copenhagen, Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin, and Kunstsammlungen Zwickau.

📌 The exhibition “Quale – zirkeln, flimmen” by Maja Behrmann at DOCK 20 will remain on view until December 6, 2025.

— 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕ā𝒓𝒆 Artist Talks 🎤 Part of the curated section by Camille Regli (), this special edition of Stage Talks explored the performative dimensions of objects, bodies, and space. Drawing on the theatre setting of the fair, 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕ā𝒓𝒆 invited viewers to observe, wander, and engage with the subtle play between fiction and reality. Themes echoed in the work of both artists.

Jim C. Nedd () spoke with Sarah Johanna Theurer (.t / ) about his collaborative approach to image-making and music, from exhibitions at institutions like Museion and MACRO, to co-founding the experimental duo Primitive Art and the ongoing Shelter project.

Thomas Liu Le Lann () joined Camille Regli to reflect on play, subversion, and autofiction in his sculptural environments. Immersive works that combine fabric, glass, wood, poetry, and found objects to evoke personal narratives through a logic of transformation.
