What you see depends on where you look.

We’re thrilled to announce multi-award-winning actor DAVID WURAWA as Loyd in the Austrian premiere of JOB by Max Wolf Friedlich.

When Jane, a young tech professional at the centre of a viral video, is sent for a mandatory evaluation, she finds herself face-to-face with crisis therapist Loyd. What begins as a routine assessment soon spirals into a gripping psychological confrontation that blurs the boundaries between truth and perception.

A New York Times Critic’s Pick, JOB explores what it means to live in a world where our online lives, public judgement and personal responsibility have become impossible to separate.

Bold, provocative and unsettlingly relevant, this is theatre that will stay with you long after the curtain falls.

Four very different stories. One shared humanity.

Whether life guarantees us a happy ending or not, it is often in moments of challenge that the human spirit discovers its greatest capacity for resilience, humour and hope.

As we work through the summer preparing for our 2026/2027 season, we can’t help feeling excited about the journey ahead.

We’re delighted to be bringing back audience favourites „Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill“ and „My Old Lady“, introducing Vienna audiences to the Austrian premiere of the Broadway hit „JOB“, and continuing our journey with „Grey Rock“ — a play that has held a very special place in our hearts from the beginning. Great plays, by great playwrights with astonishing casts.

…and yes, we may even have a couple of surprises still up our sleeves.

A heartfelt thank you to Gernot Ottowitz for creating such striking artwork that captures the spirit of these productions. Three posters are complete… one more is still to come.

Here’s to another season of stories that entertain, move us, challenge us, and remind us of our shared humanity.

We can’t wait to welcome audiences to Berlin and Vienna.
