She’s back. By popular demand. 📞

My Old Lady is moving back into Theater Drachengasse and we’ve been busy getting everything ready for her return.

Furniture hauled, props unpacked, set rebuilt. Mathilde’s Leibrente apartment is taking shape in Drachengasse once again.

Now all that’s missing is you.

Back by popular demand — and this is why.

When MY OLD LADY first opened in February, Der Standard described it as “eine unerwartete, bewegende Begegnung” — an unexpected, moving encounter — and “bittersüß und humorvoll” — bittersweet and humorous.

We loved bringing Mathilde, Mathias and Chloé to life then, and we are enormously happy to be bringing them back.

If you missed it the first time — or simply want to spend another evening with our Old Lady — come and join us. ❤️

Oops… we’re doing it again…

At Theater Drachengasse season opening Pressegespräch last night, we introduced two upcoming productions.

We’re happy to return to Theater Drachengasse this season with a Wiederaufnahme of MY OLD LADY, starring Dave Moskin, Bronwynn Mertz-Penzinger and Kathy Tanner, and to bring along something new: JOB.

With JOB, Max Wolf Friedlich’s Broadway hit and New York Times Critic’s Pick comes to Vienna for the very first time with Tamalynne Grant and David Wurawa taking on its two characters.

What begins behind a screen takes the stage: public judgement, cancel culture, and the fight over who gets to control the narrative. No scrolling away. No closing the tab. Just two people in a room, and an audience left to decide. ⚖️

And of course: LOTS OF CREATIVITY ✨

Working day and night on our upcoming season (and apparently, that involves a lot of meetings). ☕️
A little behind-the-scenes glimpse of what we’ve been up to lately. New ideas, new collaborations, familiar and new faces, and plenty of coffee at keeping us going.

Next up: Back to Vienna with our hit show ‘My Old Lady’ at .drachengasse this October! 🐗

And while we’re getting ready to bring this production back to the stage, there’s already another JOB waiting for us… 👀

More to come. Stay tuned! 🎭
