Proximamente...Residencia de Escultura en Nevada, USA.
Este Septiembre voy a salir de mi espacio de confort y voy a emprender un viaje a Estados Unidos para ser parte de una increíble residencia de escultores en "Buffalo Creek Art Center", cerca de Reno, Nevada. La residencia es un "Rancho" de 30 hectareas en el medio de las montañas con un gigante parque de esculturas y obviamente un taller para trabajar equipado con todo lo que un artista sueña. Será un mes conviviendo y creando con escultores de distintas areas (madera, cerámica, vidrio, etc). La idea es dejar una huella en ese lugar, una escultura para el parque, pero también crear alguna pieza para algún cliente privado que esté interesado.
No les voy a mentir y decirles que no tengo pánico... un mes lejos de la familia, trabajando en un lugar con un idioma que casi no entiendo, tener que adaptarme a un taller que no es el mio, pero por otro lado, tengo una ansiedad enorme y creo que va a ser una experiencia exponencial que me va a renovar la energía...y seguramente servirá de disparador para muchas otras cosas.

This September I am going to leave my comfort space and I am going to take a trip to the United States to be part of an incredible residency of sculptors at "Buffalo Creek Art Center", near Reno, Nevada. The residence is a 30 hectare "Rancho" in the middle of the mountains with a giant park of sculptures and obviously a workshop to work equipped with everything an artist dreams of. It will be a month living together and creating with sculptors from different areas (wood, ceramics, glass, etc). The idea is to leave a mark in that place, a sculpture for the park, but also to create a piece for any private client who is interested.
I'm not going to lie and tell you that I'm not panicking... a month away from my family, working in a place with a language that I barely understand, having to adapt to a workshop that isn't mine, but on the other hand, I have enormous anxiety and I think it will be an exponential experience that will renew my energy... and will surely serve as a trigger for many
