ALL COME TOGETHER 🔥🤘

Very pleased to announce the release of ALL COME TOGETHER, a cover song that now you can find on my youtube channel. Also very honoured that I could work on a music collaboration with my friend Anne, who accepted so kindly some months ago. None of this would have been possible without her support across the oceans.

About 5 years ago, this was one of my suggested songs to learn with my music teacher. Subtle and peaceful with lovely poetry would always inspire me with hope. I always dreamed of singing this with someone else as a duet team. Unfortunately, when my music teacher passed away the music project was put on hold and so did my singing lessons. So I cherish for this moment that thiis year I found strength in me to continue. I put my energy into something I love; into what always stays with me; music.

ANNE: When Dan asked me if we wanted to sing a song together, I was equally excited and overwhelmed. I’m an amateur choir singer, and the only time I sing solo is when I’m riding my bike or home alone. So this was a completely new experience for me, and I first had to get used to hearing and recording my own voice. But it was SO much fun, I learned an incredible amount, and the song was perfect for getting started. It’s fascinating that we can sing together across continents. Thank you for giving me this opportunity! Here’s to hopefully many more projects, dear Dan! 🥂

Memories from last night at the SUPER JAM event. Invited by .1 —neighbor, friend (and my ex-music teacher). The night was a blast! A lot of variety. Great atmosphere, great energy shown on stage as well. As for me, just happy I could be there to see my friend playing live.

Officially my first time at a bar in all 2026. And my first music gig. Very pleased I could be part of it. I missed this.

Thank you for the music to all musicians who were there. Special thanks to all organizers who made the event possible.

And a big shout out to Nacho and the Cheddars, which band I discovered through David. And thanks to all people I could talk to that were so friendly with me. I will treasure this memory.

I ran today. It felt like best time of my life. I had not joined to a race in a very long time. Beyond being a race and the results in numbers I am simply happy I was again in a race. This gave me a chance to test myself once again, and I remained hopeful and grateful at all times. In every kilometer all my long-lasting friends were in my thoughts. This is indeed what kept my spirit ongoing. Thank you everyone, every friend, and just everyone who supports my journey, my art, and value all of my efforts. I just simply want to celebrate that I am still alive. And this race did it for me.

You all have a wonderful day. I hope your weekend is going alright. Or that there is something in your life you find meaningful and worth pursuing, not once, but every day of your life.

Here we go. Keeping the ritual in any way possible before is too late. 8 months streak living alcohol free and sharing my journey online for anyone who may find this worth being read today or one day.

Also: Free of drugs. Believe it or not I never tried a mushroom in my whole life. If anything my addiction is coffee and that is about it Believe it or not all my crazy thoughts came inside the package (brain). And I am just doing what I can in the best way I know. The way it works for me.

You all have a good night. Or a wonderful morning if your day just began.

ON THE TO ROAD TO RECOVERY

Here I share the podium variant piece in full color. Just keeping my word here. Oh, and the rest of the story. More drawings will be included in the following post.

ART WINS.

After 33.3 thousand hours, the ultimate champion is seen at the podium holding the trophy. Now he makes his final statement, which insight, he admitted, could only be developed throughout the entire race: Art Wins.

While the statement might have been short in words, it was the most shocking affirmation ever stated by a robot. That day was the day Rusty became not only a champion but also what humans would call "a living legend". Rusty was recognized as the wisest machine ever created and functioning (still).

Unlike humans, there is no "legend" among them. Humans call legends to those they admire due to their hard work and discipline. But why would a robot admire another robot if they are not seeing themselves as "hard workers" but as operators of tasks instead? Indeed. To them is all about predictions. If you can predict better than any previous model that makes you a higher level predictor among your peers. The more precise and accurate over time the more respected you become among machines.

After centuries evolving by themselves, finally one robot concluded that humans were actually important. It was their creativity what counted the most. No other expression in the entire galaxy could be compared to what they do best: art.

Rusty insight was translated into 4 million languages all over the entire galaxy. Then a new era began. Against all the odds humanity had once again another chance to live.

ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY

Here I share with all of you new variants from RTR project presenting all qualified runners from the marathon, plus one early sketch with the ultimate champion holding the trophy — sunflower plant.

The marathon follows different rules than the human type of marathon rules. For instance, it is not measured by distance but with time. It is 33.3 thousand hours marathon ‐equals more than 3 years running.

Any robot has the potential running this long but not every robot would want to do that. The real challenge is the concequences. It does grow concerns given that while running you will not have time for any " upgrade" while everyone else is evolving. There is a whole debate in this planet about the event whether is worth joining or not. Meaning that this is not a race for everyone and not everyone is looking forward to it.

In my NEXT post I will present the Podium variant piece in full color. Also, a couple more drawings to give more context to the story. And I will tell you how the story ends.

ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY (shortened RTR from now ON)

What if the act of running for a machine was not just another operating "task" but an attempt longing for a richer and meaningful experience?

If robots are meant to be like humans, will they ever become just like any other human, or will their highly advanced technology take a different turn? What will their aspirations be? Will they ever feel like "winners" in the entire universe? Will they repeat our same steps or will their predictions differ from ours?

These questions are the premise of my story from RTR project.

Here in this post I present you a new variant introducing Rusty. Rusty is an original character from Mike Letendre. He built it from wires and bolts soldering as this was his style creating sculptures out of junkyard objects. I borrowed his sculpture and created a story of Rusty within my MetalMadCat universe. In the world a created a marathon among robots is being held. This marathon is not just another marathon but one sponsored by monoliths. Meet the ultimate champion from this marathon.

More about the origin of this marathon, the rules and one final statement in the next post with another variant from the story.

APPRECIATION POST

You may have seen this before if you were here about a year ago.

Back then I was into this "On the Road to Recovery" project, a tribute to the art of Mike Letendre (RIP 2013). The piece was among my appreciation post series. Another year is passing by, and I am back on that same project. This time adding color to it and adding some old sketches that never saw the light of the day. But it is just about time to bring some light. And color.

So, this is just the original composition from 2025 but in color. Next post will include new variants from the old sketches, which are other robots from Mike. The sketches may as well unfold a story about what the marathon was all about.
