hoy 18hs presenta su nuevo libro, Afuera el viento, adentro el mundo, en el , Cordoba

El mismo reúne obras de los últimos años, que formaron parte de la exposición del año pasado en el , y cuenta con un prólogo de fundadora y directora creativa de ETHER Arts Project , junto con textos de y .

La edición, de 92 páginas a color y tapa dura, fue posible gracias al apoyo de y , además de las casi 100 personas que apoyaron el proyecto en la pre-venta.

Marcos considera la pintura como un proceso de pensamiento entrelazado con algo profundamente espiritual, como una forma de ahondar en sí mismo y, a la vez, en el universo.

Se inspira en el entorno agreste que lo rodea, reinterpretando el paisaje y su relación con la intervención humana, mediante pinturas a gran escala que circulan entre el hiperrealismo y lo sobrenatural.

Marcos considers painting as a thought process intertwined with something profoundly spiritual, as a way of deepening into himself and, at the same time, into the Universe.

He is inspired by the rough surroundings of his hometown, reinterpreting landscape and its relationship with human intervention through large scale paintings that circulate between hyperrealism and the supernatural.

(EN below) Hoy presentamos .forest , un bosque que nace de las cenizas del incendio ocurrido en en Santa Cruz, 2020. Un proyecto realizado en el último Burning Man gracias a donaciones y colaboraciones. Se trata de una instalación interactiva de árboles geométricos construida principalmente con madera recuperada del incendio del CZU Lighting Complex en Santa Cruz.

“Paradisium nos recuerda la belleza del bosque y nuestra interconexión e interdependencia con la naturaleza, al mismo tiempo que fomenta un sentido de comunidad y una inversión en nuestro futuro compartido.” Dice artista impulsor del proyecto, junto con Folly Builders.

Reducir el consumo, reutilizar y reutilizar, avanzar hacia las energías renovables y plantar más árboles es algo que todos podemos hacer hoy.

Today we present .forest , a forest reborn out of the ashes of . Paradisium was built in the last Burning Man as an interactive grove of geometric trees built primarily out of reclaimed lumber and trees burnt in the CZU Lighting Complex fire in Santa Cruz.

“Paradisium reminds us of the forest's beauty and our interconnectedness and interdependence with nature, while also fostering a sense of community and an investment in our shared future.” lead artist of the project, together with the Folly Builders.

Reducing consumption, reusing and repurposing, moving towards renewables, and planting more trees is something that we all can do today.

✨ 5 pm Artist talk
✨6-9 pm Opening reception + immersive fine art unveiling, followed by live NFT drop on .co. A portion of the NFT sales will be donated to , a local coral reef restoration nonprofit.

The exhibition features three large-scale, portal-inspired installations the bridge both physical and digital realms located in the hotel lobby, elevators, and 3rd-floor courtyard.

¿Sabías que la NASA describió a Islandia como "probablemente la zona de campo más parecida a la luna"? ¿Qué te hace pensar ésto?

A Space for Humans: The Moon on Earth es un proyecto sobre dos viajes de campo científicos a Islandia que tuvieron lugar en 1965 y 1967. Fueron organizados por la NASA y el Servicio Geológico de EE. UU. Con el fin de preparar a los astronautas para las actividades físicas, emocionales y científicas.

"Mis visitas a Islandia fueron medio siglo después de que ocurrieran estos hechos. En 2017, fui en un viaje de campo organizado por The Exploration Museum con un astronauta retirado, explorador y geólogo profesional. Experimentamos a través de medios sensoriales lo que era estar en la Tierra con otros cuerpos planetarios en nuestra imaginación."

Today we present Heimr (A Space for Humans: The Moon on Earth) by the photographer and founder of Contemporary Publisher of Photobooks

Did you know that NASA described Iceland to be “Probably the most moon-like of the field areas”? What does this makes you think?

A Space for Humans: The Moon on Earth is a project about two scientific field trips to Iceland that took place in 1965 and 1967. They were organized by NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey in order to prepare the astronauts for physical, emotional, and scientific purposes so that the observations they made on the surface of the moon were more useful in their variety and substance.

"My visits to Iceland were half a century after these events happened. In 2017, I went into the central highlands on a field trip organized by The Exploration Museum with a retired astronaut, explorer and professional geologist. We experienced through sensory means what it was like to be on Earth with other planetary bodies in our imaginations."
