Algunos días atrás nuestros amigos de .ba recibieron un mail de ayuda de una mujer iraní que está buscando visibilizar la enorme problemática de género y de derechos humanos que lamentablemente sufren a diario las mujeres de su país
1st Ave hizo esta pieza con el objetivo de viralizarla y así alzar voces desde todos los medios hacia todas las partes del mundo.

Todavía no entendemos cómo a fines de 2022 siguen existiendo estos conflictos retrógrados que no hacen más que daño al mundo. Ojalá el video llegue a quienes tengan que llegar para frenar esta locura

“Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an Iranian that lives in Iran. We are fighting a tyrannical government that has been oppressing and killing us for 40 years
We’re not only fighting for democracy, we are still fighting for our women’s rights
Ten days ago, the government killed Mahsa Amini, a 22 years old girl because she was not wearing her hijab “properly”. Since then, most Iranians are protesting, unarmed, on the streets, against the government’s violent armed forces. Innocent people are being killed. Children are being murdered
A 25 year old boy wrote a song protesting the injustices the women of Iran suffered these last 40 years. Three days after releasing the song, he was jailed. This song has now converted into a symbol of resistance in Iran
The people of Iran need to know the whole world is standing behind them. They need hope. This war is not just ours.”
