A work in progress.

Sometimes you have to step away before you can really see what's in front of you. The farther I stand, the more the painting reveals itself. Funny how that works.

Taking photos helps too. The camera catches what my eyes miss after hours at the easel.

I'm loving where this one is headed.

I didn’t expect the sky to steal the show… but here we are.

Standing under the northern lights in Iceland, you realize fast that nature doesn’t ask for attention. It just takes it.

This is where my art begins.
Not in a studio. Out here. In moments you can’t plan.

Color. Movement. Silence. Perspective.

How is your spring cleaning going this year?

For six months, life had me painting in spreadsheets instead of oils.

This week, I finally picked up a brush again.
I painted over an old canvas - which felt strangely honest. Some parts I kept. Some I let go.

Deciding what stays and what gets covered became the real art.

The old colors still whisper underneath. The new ones push forward.

I call it the evolution of color.
Work in progress… just like me. 🎨
