This is the page for Aliens Hive Breed. Outside of the fundraising campaign, this is a source of updates separate from the more involved emails for crowdsource rewards. If production happens, then you can bet
on leaked elements aimed and your themed enjoyment. Productionwise, this is aimed to be shot like any feature film, just half the length, to keep things tight and within quality control. Since this is independently done and a fan film posing as a sequel, it can be aimed at satisfying fans needs for it, and also become an alternate universe should the major studios continue sequels different in plot, like what happened when Darkhorse comics did the Aliens graphic novels before Alien 3. An Alien costume will have to be obtained, as I would prefer not to rely upon CGI for the Xenomorphs. Greenscreen stunts will be necessary to pull off the key battle scene. Sound FX and set designs will be based on Aliens, as opposed to many other film styles. Being that this is set 400 years from the original Ripley timeline, thanks to Alien Resurrection, some aesthetics will have to remain. More likely high tech gadgetry will have to be implemented in order to keep with the times, considering Prometheus has more tech than any of the other films and is a prequel saga. I would plan on using CGI mostly on space shots, by other artists, and matte sets mixed with physical ones...whether model based or where actors can be interacting with.
