"Kovkas" Dance Ensemble

"Kovkas" Dance Ensemble National Dance Ensemble (Armenian, Russian, Georgian, etc) Since that period of time the dance group had passed productive creative way, had lot of success.

The ensemble was founded in 1977 in Yerevan City Center of Youth Creative Art (Pioneer Palace) headed by Ashot Hakobyan. The love to dance had passed from father to sons. Today the head of "KOVKAS" dance group is the eldest son - Armen Hakobyan. He continues father's work with the same fervor and boundless devotion. Alumni of the group professionally dance Armenian, Russian, Georgian and other countries' folk dances.
