A quiet choreography of cloth, form, and memory. In Memories from a Tailor’s Diary IV, Armen Gevorgian transforms the language of tailoring into an elegant abstract composition—where measured lines, layered surfaces, and subtle textures evoke fragments of garments, gestures, and time.

The work speaks of what remains after the making: the trace of the hand, the intimacy of fabric, and memories carefully stitched into form.

In Passion, Vahan Roumelian transforms the canvas into a field of raw energy—where crimson burns beneath sweeping strokes of gold, ivory, black, and silver. Each gesture appears spontaneous yet deliberate, creating a powerful tension between chaos and control.

A vision of celebration rendered in jewels, silk, and color.

In Festive Day, Tigran Matulian transforms the figure into ornament and the ornament into poetry. Six women emerge as a radiant procession, adorned with elaborate headdresses, embroidered textiles, flowers, and luminous details—each figure carrying her own language of beauty and tradition.

Against a deep crimson ground, sapphire blues, emerald greens, ruby reds, and burnished golds unfold with almost jewel-like intensity. The painting possesses the richness of a ceremonial tapestry, while its dreamlike elegance places it beyond any particular moment in time.

A celebration not simply of a festive day, but of beauty itself—remembered, embellished, and transformed art.

This artwork by Tigran Matulian reveals that there is a very fine line between abstract and figurative art. The artist has masterfully blurred the boundaries between the two creating an impressive image that lingers in the observer’s mind. All the shapes are well-defined with clear lines, and yet they seamlessly blend into each other generating a dazzling kaleidoscope that instantly brightens the mood.
