Armenian Foundation for Promotion of Cinema and TV for Children and Young People Rolan Bykov Foundation was founded in 2001. The main goal of the fund is to promote the development of cinema and TV for children and youth, to create their individuality and world-view on basis of traditional moral values, to involve children and young people in creative processes which will contribute to their spiri
tual enrichment, with the help of festival to create required conditions for the promotion and popularization of Armenian cinematography, to set new contacts with various countries and festivals and also to stimulate and develop joint international projects in the field of cinematography. A lot of various projects in cultural and social spheres were implemented by the fund with the help and support of the President of RA, the Government of RA, Municipality of Yerevan, UNICEF, UNDP, CIFEJ, OSI, ECFA and others. Armenian Rolan Bykov Foundation has a strong experience in working with children and young people and also experience in implementation of international festivals: 8 International Film Festivals for Children and Young People in Armenia, carrying out of master-classes, creative meetings, film premieres, organization of anniversaries (70th Anniversary of Armenian Animation), round-table discussions, exhibitions, different charity projects and other events not only in Yerevan but also in the regions of Armenia.
