First of all, we are going to tell you about us. Who are we? What are we doing this project for?
Artem Dorokhin is our leader. He worked as a 3D generalist, but to move forward, he decided to study character modeling. And then he quitted and made it his job. The number of orders was growing, but the hours in a day were not increasing. That's how Obelisk Studio appeared.
The studio exists for two years. During that time we managed to work on Call of Duty. Vanguard, New World, Fallout 76, Love Death and Robots, and Dota2 cinematics. And our one more big project Sons of the forest will be released soon.
We have a huge experience in development and design. Artem has been working for more than 11 years and his colleagues for 8 years.
We want to make something new, to leave our mark on the industry. That is why we decided not only to work for hire but also to try ourselves in development. This is a good boost for the studio: we are jumping from the level of an outsourced team, which makes models for some games, to true game developers.
