🚨 Rockstar has got fans worried about their muscle memory!

Rockstar Games is leaving some fans confused after reportedly changing a staple control mechanic for GTA 6. According to recent previews, the classic method of rapidly tapping the 'X' or 'A' button to sprint has been abandoned. Instead, players will now simply click the left thumbstick (L3) to run, bringing the game in line with most modern action titles. Ever since Trailer 3 dropped during the Netflix showcase, gamers have been actively refunding their Modern Warfare 4 pre-orders just to clear their schedules for GTA 6. The massive extended gameplay reveal completely changed the minds of anyone still on the fence about the new release. With over 80 hours of campaign content expected before you even touch the open-world distractions, it looks like fans would rather spend their time exploring Leonida than sitting in another COD lobby.

GTA 6’s new police system is going to make escaping the cops way more complicated than simply hiding until your wanted stars disappear 😳🔥

👕 Clothing: Police can remember what you were wearing. Throwing on a hat or glasses may not be enough either, with Rockstar saying you may need to completely change outfits to make that information useless.

📹 CCTV: Security cameras can provide police with information about you. Wearing a mask during a crime and removing it afterwards can prevent them from getting a useful description of your face, even if the robbery was caught on camera.

👤Identity: Police can have a physical description of Jason or Lucia, so changing things like your hairstyle can actually help throw them off. 👥 Couple: If Jason and Lucia were reported committing a crime together, police can know they’re searching for two suspects, meaning splitting up can reduce the heat.

🚗 Rockstar also confirmed police can remember the vehicle you were driving, so abandoning a recognised car and switching to another can help you escape. GTA 6 is basically turning the wanted system into an actual manhunt rather than just a chase 👀

There’s been a dog stranded on a tiny island in Black Flag Resynced since launch, and players have finally been given a way to rescue it 🥹🐶

The new 1.0.7 update adds a hidden animal rescue event somewhere in the Caribbean. Once you find the dog and interact with it, it can be brought back to Edward’s hideout at Great Inagua.

Players had been asking Ubisoft to let them save the dog instead of leaving it stuck there, so this is one of those small updates that people are actually really happy about.

You can now basically give the dog a new home at the hideout and keep it around permanently ❤️

You can find the dog at the coordinates 624, 50 at the south end of the map

It might be over for Modern Warfare 4 after the GTA 6 Netflix reveal completely changed some players’ plans 😅

Some people were still expecting to split their time between both games, but after seeing the new GTA 6 footage they now say they’d rather focus entirely on that.

Others admitted they weren’t fully sold on GTA 6 before the showcase, but the extended reveal seems to have won them over.

With such a huge story and open world to get through, some players simply don’t want another major game competing for their time when GTA 6 launches

GTA 5’s infamous unfinished skyscraper has finally been completed after 13 years 😳

The finished version appears in NoPixel V, the new GTA V roleplay experience created in collaboration with Rockstar Games.

The building has been stuck under construction ever since GTA 5 launched in 2013, becoming one of the longest-running jokes in the game.

It still isn’t finished in regular GTA 5 or GTA Online, but NoPixel V has finally shown players what it looks like completed
