🚨 Netflix is ramping up promotion for Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look ahead of its August 27 premiere.
GTA 6 artwork is now being reported on Netflix’s app opening and profile-selection screens, putting Jason and Lucia directly in front of subscribers before they even start browsing.
The promotion appears to be reaching multiple users and devices, although Netflix has not confirmed how widely the opening-screen takeover is being rolled out.
The timing is significant. GTA 6: An Extended Look premieres on Netflix at 3 PM ET on August 27, giving the platform a six-hour exclusive window before it arrives on Rockstar’s YouTube channel and official GTA VI website at 9 PM ET.
With Netflix now pushing GTA 6 inside the app, Rockstar’s marketing for the Extended Look is clearly entering its final stretch.

Based on leak discussions, trailer analysis and ongoing fan mapping projects, Leonida is shaping up to be an enormous open world.

🚗 Driving across the map: ~25–35 minutes
✈️ Flying across the map: ~8–15 minutes
🚶 Walking across the map: potentially several hours

The exact times would obviously depend on the final map, route, traffic and vehicle, but estimates like these show just how different exploring Leonida could feel compared with GTA V.

A map this large could make road trips, long police chases and traveling between major cities feel like actual journeys rather than quick drives across the map.
