Get to know Yara Chaalan, one of our Summer 2026 - a Lebanese multidisciplinary artist working with painting, embroidery, and video. Her practice explores the body as a landscape, a shifting
terrain shaped by migration, memory, and the emotional complexity of home. Through oil paint, watercolor, stitched surfaces, and video, she merges her own figure with the landscapes of Lebanon to construct visual spaces that hold nostalgia, longing, trauma, and the tension of belonging. Yara lives and works in Dubai. Follow her journey as we share updates on our page throughout the summer
