When PUMA approached The Lemon Jam to add a little zest and sweet sting to their Pop-Up event at Sole DXB, it was a no brainer for the team. Already working on the return of the beloved live-music day-time party for December 11th, the creative team behind The Lemon Jam decided to bring a taster of what’s to come. And so, on November 20th at SOLE DXB, PUMA and The Lemon Jam are delighted to present Brisbane based singer, songwriter, and producer, Jordan Rakei.
With his experimental blend of lo-fi soul, everything Rakei has touched to-date (which impressively spans from Hip-Hop to Dub to Deep House as well as Reggae) turns to a beautiful, lemon-yellow gold. Familiar to some for his vocal talent coupled with the production genius of such acts as Disclosure, Ta-ku, and Tom Misch to name a few, Jordan Rakei will bring an experience only a handful of modern artists can. Truly a master of the triple threat, coupling his smooth, sultry voice with beautiful piano skills and his own beat production to ground the whole performance, Jordan Rakei will no doubt be a memorable highlight at SOLE DXB, 2015. Rakei’s highly commended Boiler Room special plays testament to his musical prowess and it is with great excitement that both The Lemon Jam and PUMA invite you all to indulge in this exemplary live music extravaganza. Also on board to get you all jamming proper is an iconic, Dubai-based DJ that The Lemon Jam always wanted to work with but couldn’t due to scheduling conflicts until now! Finally joining us at the PUMA & The Lemon Jam Pop-Up will be DJ and PUMA Brand Ambassador, DJ David Craig.
