Leaving Alserkal Avenue behind, we headed to Al Fahidi District and the ever-inspiring XVA Gallery, where art is beautifully woven into the original architecture of old Dubai.

The highlight was Jane Beveridge's first solo exhibition, LOCAL, which captures the essence of Dubai and belonging. Through mixed-media works inspired by her collection of five-letter words, Beveridge explores language, identity and place, creating a powerful exhibition where contemporary colour, texture and materiality are beautifully offset by the surrounding heritage architecture.

Art Dubai Digital 2026 continued to prove that as technology evolves at extraordinary speed, so too does the creativity of the artists and collectives pushing its boundaries.

While the exhibition was more focused and intimate than previous years, each installation felt considered, immersive and intellectually engaging.

We were particularly mesmerised by 'DNA of Oud — What If You Could See a Smell?' — a beautiful exploration of scent translated into digital 3D form.

The immersive works by 'Iregular' engaged us through interaction, movement and sound, demonstrating exciting possibilities for how these experiences could translate into large-scale external and interactive installations.

Rizq Art Initiative featured the work of Solimán López, a deeply thought-provoking, compelling and visually brilliant set of works where science, space, nature, and consciousness converged.

Digital art continues to expand beyond the screen — becoming immersive, emotional, sensory and spatial — and this year’s programme reminded us just how limitless that future may be....

20 years of Art Dubai 2026 — and this year, the fair didn’t just endure the current climate, it thrived!

The Art Dubai team worked relentlessly and creatively, curating a programme of previews, workshops, talks, tours and gatherings that made this edition feel deeply connected, engaging and alive. This year, we didn’t just see the show — we truly felt it.

There was an energy throughout the fair that never felt diminished. We left inspired, energized and incredibly proud to be part of it.

New gallery and artist connections were formed, long-standing relationships strengthened, and every conversation felt meaningful.

We are in the midst of curating a dynamic corporate art collection, so we toured the fair carefully - discovering works, narratives and artists that will shape this and future projects.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the 20th edition such a memorable and important moment for the regional and international art community! 👏👏
