Every Monday morning, Team Malhaar arrives early at GEMS Modern Academy for the Monday Morning Raga setup and sound check.
Today, Aadhya Kamesh (MYP 2) performed for the very first time, not just at Monday Morning Raga, but on any public stage.
What made the morning even more special was meeting her mother, who had arrived much earlier than required.
During our conversation, she shared that she had barely slept the previous night because of the excitement and anticipation of her daughter’s performance.
Moments like these remind us that learning is never a child’s journey alone. Parents walk every step with their children, celebrating, worrying, encouraging, and growing alongside them. Perhaps children only realize this when they grow older.
That is the beauty of growing up together, and the important role schools play in creating such meaningful experiences.
This morning, Aadhya’s beautiful presentation of Carnatic classical pieces enchanted the audience. But the joy, pride, and excitement reflected in her mother’s eyes made the experience truly unforgettable.
