YES PINOY PRO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES JINGLE CONTEST DESPITE KALAYAAN SPORTS FEST 2026 CHALLENGES
Yes Pinoy PRO proudly participated as one of the Official Sponsors of Kalayaan Sports Fest 2026, supporting the Filipino community through sports, entertainment, and cultural initiatives. As part of our sponsorship commitment, we organized and promoted the Yes Pinoy PRO Jingle Contest, allocating substantial cash prizes to recognize talent and encourage community participation.
Unfortunately, during the event, unforeseen operational and organizational issues arose, resulting in the interruption of activities while competitions and stage programs were still ongoing. These circumstances created significant challenges for participants, sponsors, partners, performers, influencers, and businesses that had invested resources and support into the event.
Beyond sponsorship fees, many sponsors, influencers, performers, and participating companies invested substantial additional resources in preparation for the event. These investments included marketing campaigns, promotional materials, uniforms, transportation, logistics, content production, rehearsals, manpower, equipment, and other operational expenses. Like many other sponsors and partners, Yes Pinoy PRO also made significant investments in marketing, event promotions, contest prizes, staffing, venue arrangements, and operational support.
These expenses and preparations were made in good faith based on the expectation that the event would be professionally managed and executed according to the commitments presented by the organizers. As a result of the event’s failure to proceed as planned, much of the time, effort, and financial resources invested by sponsors, influencers, performers, and participating organizations were adversely affected, resulting in significant losses that cannot be recovered.
Despite these challenges, Yes Pinoy PRO remained committed to honoring every promise made to our contestants.
Recognizing our responsibility to the participants who dedicated their time, effort, and talent, we immediately transferred the Yes Pinoy PRO Jingle Contest to our own office venue, allowing the competition to continue under fair and professional conditions.
Commitment to Contestants
The contest mechanics had been clearly communicated from the beginning, and the competition proceeded according to the published guidelines.
Our panel of judges, including independent judges from the United Kingdom and Italy, both new residents of Dubai, conducted their evaluations fairly and objectively based solely on the official contest criteria.
Prize Distribution
As promised, Yes Pinoy PRO awarded a total of AED 11,000 in cash prizes:

Deliverables and Future Commitments
Following discussions with Fame Success Stories Event Management, we were informed of their commitment to organize a replacement event without charging additional sponsorship fees to affected sponsors. We were also assured that the agreed promotional deliverables and sponsorship commitments, including those involving Yes Pinoy PRO, would continue while alternative arrangements are being considered.
At present, we remain hopeful that all commitments made to sponsors, partners, and participants will be fulfilled. We continue to await the completion of the remaining deliverables and are open to constructive solutions that will benefit all parties involved.
Sponsors’ Position
As a sponsoring company, Yes Pinoy PRO believes that sponsorship investments should be utilized for the successful ex*****on of agreed activities, promotions, and deliverables. The responsibility for planning, budgeting, venue management, risk assessment, and event ex*****on rests with the event organizers.
Many sponsors, influencers, business partners, and participating companies have expressed disappointment regarding the outcome of the event. Our position remains professional and business-oriented. This is not a matter of emotions but a matter of accountability and responsibility.
Sponsors fulfilled their obligations by providing financial support, marketing efforts, manpower, promotional activities, and various resources to contribute to the event’s success. It is therefore reasonable for sponsors to expect that organizers fulfill the commitments and deliverables that were promised.
Event organizers are expected to conduct proper financial planning, expense management, operational assessments, and risk mitigation before undertaking major events. The risks associated with event management should not be transferred to sponsors and partners who have already fulfilled their commitments and invested substantial resources.
Because of the significant impact on sponsors, influencers, performers, and businesses, many affected parties are currently evaluating the situation and considering the most appropriate course of action moving forward. We remain hopeful that solutions can be reached and that all outstanding commitments and deliverables will ultimately be fulfilled.
A Promise Fulfilled
While circumstances beyond our control affected the original event, Yes Pinoy PRO chose not to allow our contestants to be disadvantaged. We took immediate action, provided an alternative venue, completed the competition, and awarded every promised prize.
What could have become an unfinished competition was transformed into a successful celebration of talent, commitment, and community spirit.
The Yes Pinoy PRO Jingle Contest was not halted—it was successfully completed, and every promise made by Yes Pinoy PRO was honored.
We extend our appreciation to all contestants, supporters, judges, volunteers, sponsors, influencers, performers, and members of the Filipino community who continued to support the initiative despite the challenges encountered.
