Director Ms. Shanon is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance. She attended the University of Arizona on a dance scholarship where she trained in ballet, modern and jazz. Besides having a BFA in dance, she also has a Masters in Elementary Education. Shanon started her professional career in Twilight Dan

ce Company and worked as a professional choreographer setting pieces for TV and theatre such as “Fire in the Sky”. Once finishing her professional career, Shanon owned a premier dance school, Creative Movement Dance Company, for over 15 years in Des Moines, IA. Many of her graduates went on to have professional careers in dance and theater such as Nebraska Ballet Company, Billy Elliot Broadway Show, and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Shanon is highly recognized for her choreography winning many US National Awards.
