There's a specific electricity in a crowd that believes in what it's part of.

Armenia rearranged something in me.

I came for a summit. I left thinking about resilience differently. This is a country that has every reason to look backward and instead builds relentlessly forward warm, proud, and impossibly generous to a visitor holding a microphone.

You feel it in the crowd: people who understand that survival and ambition are the same muscle. I arrived to host Armenians. I left a little more Armenian in how I see the world. Shnorhakalut'yun.

Unpopular opinion: the after-party is a business strategy.

By day we pitched, learned and negotiated. By night we danced and something happened that no boardroom ever produces. Walls dropped. Titles disappeared. The investor and the intern were on the same dancefloor, and suddenly the follow-up email writes itself.

I've learned to treat losing like weather, not identity. It passes, and it waters something. Every founder in that Armenian field has a folder full of "no" the winners are just the ones who kept the folder and turned the page.

We won some moments in Armenia. Trophies, cheers, a crowd on its feet.
But here's what I keep reminding myself: a win is a mirror, not a monument. It shows you what worked on one day, with one crowd, in one field by the sea. Enjoy it fully then set it down.

The founders who stay humble in victory are the ones still standing three years later.
