Test Assembly of New Playgrounds at Our Production Facility

Here’s what we check:

📌 Geometry and Fit. We assemble the entire structure on site—joint to joint, node to node. This allows us to ensure that all parts align perfectly, with no misalignments or gaps. Even if a design looks flawless on paper, it may need adjustments in practice.

📌 Fastenings and Mechanisms. We test how rotating parts (such as carousels and swings) operate, whether bolts are properly tightened, and if ropes and cables are securely fixed. If any adjustments are needed, we complete them here—before the equipment leaves the factory.

📌 Functionality and Safety. Every new piece of equipment undergoes testing for assembly accuracy and compliance with the client’s specific requirements. Special attention is given to elements that experience high loads: slides, ladders, and suspended crossings.

Engineering solutions: hidden fasteners – invisible, but important

The playground equipment installation season is in full swing, and right now every detail on the site matters. Especially the ones you can’t see.

We’re talking about hidden fasteners – a solution we use on some Leber projects. Visually, they’re almost invisible, but it’s precisely these engineering choices that create well-thought-out equipment.

Typically, bolts, nuts, and screws are visible on the surface. We try to hide them — inside beam ends, behind decorative caps, within the frame itself. This is more difficult to assemble and requires more precise cutting, but the result is worth it.

⚫️ Safer for children. Exposed fasteners create a risk of snagging or injury. Hidden fasteners eliminate this risk.

⚫️ Less corrosion. When fasteners are protected from rain and snow, they don’t rust. Even years later, the bolts inside a beam stay dry – and that affects the durability of the entire structure.

⚫️ Cleaner appearance. The playground looks more premium and well-maintained. No rust stains from screws, no protruding nuts ruining the visual.

⚫️ Harder to vandalize. Hidden fasteners are more difficult to loosen with a basic tool or to break off — simply because they’re harder to reach. That’s a plus for vandal resistance.

📈 Leber’s sports playgrounds are designed for an ecosystem where sport becomes a natural part of a family’s daily life.

More and more adults are looking for the opportunity to exercise not in stuffy gyms, but outdoors, close to home. Children, watching their parents, absorb the habit of movement from an early age.

When parents work out on the playground, children naturally join in. Joint exercises, where an adult spots or helps perform an element, become not only beneficial but also emotionally valuable.

We design playgrounds so that areas for children and adults are within the same space, allowing the family to stay together, even if each has their own level of activity.
