Nell ultimo periodo Sono molto felice di accettare opere su commissione, perché per me significa che quello che faccio ha un senso e Anche perché sento Che la mia espressione é più libera dall’idea che un artista debba avere uno stile riconoscibile e unico! il mio stile é adattabile a richieste purché rispecchino me stessa e il rapporto creato con chi fa la richiesta, Ovvio! Ma amo l’idea di essere libera anche in questo, sperimentare e creare senza un’etichetta.

What is it Art Therapy?

I always talk about art therapy, i set an Art Studio in Dubai Knowledge Park where i paint, i display my art and i organise workshops related to it, but what are the real benefits of this technique that put our creativity at the center?
Art therapy was born way back in 1940 in America by the psychologist, educator and artist Margaret Naumburg.

Art therapy is an approach of usually non-verbal support and personal growth, through the use of artistic materials.
The benefits of practicing this discipline are:
Express emotions and feelings that are difficult to verbalise through words;
Explore imagination and creativity;
Improve self-esteem, becoming aware of our internal experiences;
Relieve stress, improving anxiety symptoms;
Increase communication skills;
Encourage self-reflection and listening to ourselves.

LAVA ONE +LAVA TWO

Acrylic colors and Aluminio silver pigments on canvas. 15,5x20 cm.
Lava One is part of two separate pieces which can be displayed together. The inspiration came from thinking about the arid land that the volcano’s lava leaves behind after its passage. Colors and media used reflect the silica and minerals deposited. The brightness of the abstraction comes from the silver aluminum powder which contains natural metal and reflects nature itself.

Terra is a big canvas where I played with silver and pink acrylic colors and then I added the powder of iron oxide that gives the canvas a different and Unic texture similar to velvet. The theme are the colors of our earth, the soil, which after water and oxygen is what maintain life alive. This painting is done to remember us the life can appear like an abstraction because is difficult see it for whole, but the natural elements remembers us to don’t forget that nothing is granted.

Ocean view 1 and 2 are the abstract version and the interpretation of the ocean colors. I used acrilyc colors and natural powder as smash charcoal and green Malachite stone.

Acrylic, pigments on canvas and gold leaf, 80x60 cm (2015).

I combined the colors I love together: midnight blue, bright blue, aqua green, sky black and plankton silver. I let myself be carried away by the sensations that the colors sent me, my hands simply followed a flow dictated by instinct.

Painting number 1 of "Graffiati series", a technique which involves the use of metal spatulas where I play with the surface of the canvas.
