Dubai Walls is an initiative created to introduce street art to the Middle East. Street art, now a global recognised art movement, is being introduced to the region by Meraas, a Dubai-based holding company. Dubai Walls invites globally renowned street artists to create their art in public spaces across the region. In its inaugural project in March 2016, Dubai Walls invited 15 renowned street artists representing five continents to unveil their signature style of work at CITY WALK in Dubai. Dubai Walls aims to create the conversation about this exciting art form with residents and visitors in the region being introduced to the wide variety of mediums that street art takes.
