There are actually 3 main fireworks displays in Dubai this new year - at the Burj Khalifa, Burj al Arab and Atlantic the Palm - read on for all the details. BURJ KHALIFA FIREWORK
This show can typically be viewed for miles around, but the largest crowds will gather along the waterfront areas of the famous Dubai Fountain, while this year the fireworks will also be beamed live to big screens in downtown Dubai, as well as being streamed live around the world - see below for how to watch live online. This area will be very crowded so if you want to get a good view of the show we advise you to get down there as early as possible - it will typically be packed by around 7pm. Armani Hotel NYE Dining
If you're in the Burj Khalifa area for new years eve then one of the dining options you might like to consider is inside the location's fabulous Armani Hotel, where there are five award winning restaurants inside this 5 star hotel. The new years eve dining options will include luxury options like, oysters, truffles, lobster and champagne. You can book direct with the hotel but cotnacting them here. BURJ AL ARAB FIREWORK
Not everyone has given up on fireworks on new years eve, and the Jumeirah Beach area located next to the iconic Burj Al Arab is still the site of a spectacular show at midnight. There will be large crowds packed along the whole beach area, from Jumeirah Beach right down to Kite Beach. many choose to head down earlier in the evening to watch the sunset and enjoy a picnic on the beach before the big display, and the areas many cafes and restaurants will also be plying a brisk trade. Another option for a different perspective on the fireworks views is to head out to Black Palace Beach, which is usually a lot less crowded and from where there's the added bonus of also being able to see the Atlantis fireworks. Zero Gravity NYE Party
Another iconic venue in Dubai is Zero Gravity in Skydive Dubai at the Dubai Marina, and this year they're hosting a top new years eve party of their own, the NYE Beach Festival. The famous Queen Elizabeth II is currently moored in Dubai and will be offering a fantastic range of new years eve parties to welcome the new year in truly memorable style. Another spectacular fireworks display can be found at the Atlantis, The Palm, where they have been making a big deal of new years eve for many years now. The addition of the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk offers and excellent viewing spot to watch the show, also offering a view of the Burj Al Arab fireworks in the other direction.
