✨ As Architectures of the In-Between comes to a close, I want to celebrate this milestone and the journey that led me here.

Back in 2019, during my first solo show in Cairo, I was dreaming of exhibiting at — a place that always felt like the heart of the art scene, and my personal haven in Dubai. Whenever I felt bored or lonely, I would wander there, soaking in the galleries, the coffee, the food, and the people. 🥰

In 2024, life brought me to — whose warmth and genuine enthusiasm instantly lit the way forward. Soon after, I met with Aisha Al Abbar, and today I feel so grateful to be part of the art family. ♥️

This post is a celebration of my dedication to what I love, and I thank God for every step of this path. 💕✨

In “Roaming Echoes” memory unfolds like a quiet paradox — a suspended horizon where parallel worlds rise and descend into possibility. Edges blur between presence and absence, holding a moment that feels both infinite and fleeting.

Grateful for all the generous responses to Architectures of the In-Between .

This piece, Roaming Echoes, seemed to resonate with many — a quiet meditation on memory, stillness, and spatial afterimages.

“In Roaming Echoes, space is distilled into silence — pastel planes, soft gradients, and fading shadows trace the memory of movement. The stairs hold the imprint of a quiet passage, while a distant figure dissolves into the horizon, hinting at a journey unfolding through time and space…”

Thank you to everyone who took the time to witness, reflect, and connect.

Cosmic Energies — from the Cosmotanical series, now on view at

Floating in space, the tree becomes a silent antenna — absorbing, translating, and transmitting forces beyond perception.
It stands not merely as life, but as a vessel of the invisible: cosmic rhythms, ancestral memory, and universal breath.
In its stillness, it reveals a quiet truth: that the deepest connections are felt in silence, in the spaces between the visible and the unseen.

The exhibition runs until August 23rd — visit at to experience the full series.

On view: ‘Architectures of the In-Between,’ a group show by Nevine Hamza, Atefeh Majidi Nezhad, and Layla Juma at

In ‘Architectures of the In-Between,’ each artist, whose foundational ties to architecture shape their distinctive visual languages, navigates the threshold between structure and sentiment, material and memory, between what is seen and what is sensed.
Nevine Hamza’s work is a study in architectural poetics. Drawing on her background in design, she transforms metaphysical ideas into atmospheric visual compositions. Her use of photography, digital art, collage, and painting create spaces of stillness and introspection.

Atefeh Majidi Nezhad’s installations offer a tactile investigation of space, employing delicate lace
and translucent materials that appear suspended in midair, confronting the viewer with a sense of both weightlessness and closeness. Her work draws a thread between space and selfhood, questioning how architectural memory embeds itself in bodies, rituals, and identities.

Layla Juma’s geometries present a language of form and repetition that translates social
structures into visual rhythm. Through drawing, installation, and sculpture, her compositions expose the intersections between control and chaos, structure and improvisation, offering a meditation on how identities are shaped, fragmented, and reorganised within spatial and cultural frameworks.

On view until 23 August, Dubai, Aisha Alabbar Gallery.

Still feeling the echo of this beautiful feature in ✨
Architectures of the In Between has been a deeply personal exploration of what lies between — built forms and inner landscapes, fragmentation and stillness.
Thank you for telling the story with such care.

‘7 Dimensions’ part of Architectures of the In Between, Currently on view

7 Dimensions presents a visual threshold — a structure both grounded and abstract, anchoring the viewer between planes of perception. With its mirrored symmetry and void-like center, the work suggests a portal: not just through space, but through states of awareness. Reflections of organic, irregular forms subtly interrupt the strict geometry, hinting at nature or memory beneath the surface. Geometry becomes a language of the unseen, suggesting that reality may be only one layer among many, each dimension folding silently into the next.
