Truly happy to share the soulful poem by my poetess friend Amita karnik on my painting sketch Ringan.

Thank you Amita for giving true voice to the feelings within my heart. Pandurang (deity), drenched in the devotion of His devotees (watkaris) leaves the sanctity of the temple to be among them blurring the line between the divine and the devoted .🙏🏼🌷

रिंगण.

येई जवळ आषाढ एकादशी पुण्यदायी
चित्त वैष्णवांचे लागे सख्या पांडुरंगाठायी ॥१॥

दिंड्यापताकांच्या सवे चाले वाट वारकरी
नाम विठ्ठलाचे मुखी दिसे दिठीस पंढरी ॥२॥

येता वाखरीचा माळ माळ विस्तीर्ण मोकळा
जपे परंपरा वारी रंगे रिंगण सोहळा ॥३॥

दिंडी येईना अंगणी विठू होई उतावळा
कधी जमेल भोवती लेकरांचा गोतावळा ॥४॥

सजे पंढरी नगरी आतुरली चंद्रभागा
वाट पाहत वारीची विठू रात्रंदिन जागा ॥५॥

मुलाबाळांचा विरह विठाईला साहवेना
आठवण दाटे डोळां राउळात राहवेना ॥६॥

येई अखेरीस कानी टाळचिपळ्यांची धुन
अधीरला विठूराया निघे मंदिरामधून ॥७॥

लागे ओढ अनावर गाठे सत्वर वाखरी
भोळ्या भाबड्या भक्तांना भेटे विठू उराउरी ॥८॥

भक्त मांडती रिंगण फेर जन्ममरणाचा
धावे वाऱ्याच्या वेगाने वारू त्यात जीवनाचा ॥९॥

विसरती भेदाभेद जातपंथ नातीगोती
ध्यान विठूलागी लागे सर्वां माऊली म्हणती ॥१०॥

गोल रिंगणी फिरत भक्त गातात अभंग
हात जोडूनी विठाई निजभजनात दंग ॥११॥

गर्जे नामाचा गजर घोष भिडतो आभाळा
जडे भक्तीचे चंदन काळ्या विठोबाच्या भाळां ॥१२॥

वाढे रिंगणाची लय नाद मृदुंगाचा घुमे
नामा तुकोबा ज्ञानोबा सवे विठूराया रमे ॥१३॥

फिरे रिंगण वेगात भाव शिखरी पोहोचे
भक्तांसंगे पांडुरंग गुंग होऊनिया नाचे ॥१४॥

असे वारीचे रिंगण भिजे आनंदाच्या डोही
वाळवंट हो वैकुंठ वारकरी विठू होई ॥१५॥

On the steps of Menavali Ghat, the Krishna triv spiritual quest is the journey towards truth, awareness, and harmony with the eternal.
India’s heritage sites are milestones of this quest, reflecting the seeker’s urge to go beyond limits. er flows endlessly,carrying away the weight of time and deeds.
Behind it ,the Sun Temple wheel rises in deep dark shadow, holding the silence of night and unspoken karma.
From this depth and stillness, light rays fall gently on the temple tops. In the play of light and darkness,karma reveals its return and the chakra ( wheel) of life keeps turning unceasing on the path of spiritual quest.
