यहाँ इमारतें सच से ऊँची हैं,
और लोग खुद से छोटे हैं।
यहाँ मुस्कानें फ़िल्टर से छनकर आती हैं,
और आँखें खाली रह जाती हैं।
यहाँ रिश्ते ‘कनेक्शन’ कहलाते हैं,
और दिल ‘सिग्नल’ ढूँढते रहते हैं।
यहाँ ऊपर आसमान ठहरा रहता है,
और नीचे लोग भागते रहते हैं।
ठहराव और दौड़ का यह अजीब-सा रिश्ता,
दिनभर खुद से लड़ता रहता है।

और इसी रोज़ की बेचैनी में, मेरे भीतर धीरे-धीरे,
साँसें थक जाती हैं, धड़कनें भटक जाती हैं,
और मैं खुद के कदमों से ही अनजान हो जाता हूँ।

पर जब तुम मेरा हाथ प्रेम से पकड़ती हो,
तो मैं समझ जाता हूँ,
मिलन क्या है:
धुंध का क्षितिज चूमना नहीं,
बल्कि तुम्हारा मेरी उलझन में उतर आना;
मेरे शोर में तुम्हारी शांति का बस जाना।

क्योंकि तुम्हारे साथ,
यह शहर की नक़ल भी सच की कविता सीख लेती है,
यह रफ़्तार भी एक पल को अपने जूते खोल देती है।
और आख़िर में बस यही रह जाता है,
तुम पास हो तो ज़िंदगी थमती नहीं - बस सही साँस लेने लगती है।

Smoke in the sky. Steel on the line.
A world that runs like it’s out of time.
And still the sunset hits like truth:
light doesn’t ask permission to shine.

Heavy days, but a beautiful view.
Noise out there, calm in me too.
I sit between grind and tide, and I learn:
grow, yes… but don’t forget to breathe.
