CFC Choir DXB

CFC Choir DXB The Couples For Christ Choir (CFC Choir) is an all Filipino choir from different ministries of the Couples for Christ in the UAE.

The members of the group belongs to CFC, HOLD, SOLD, SFC, YFC and KFC who shares their talents through the service of singing in the church and other organization recognized in the UAE. The fruits of consistent practice and the joy of working together on something they love and truly enjoy produces good harmony together. Their regular service is at 9AM English Masses every 1st to 3rd Fridays of the month in St. Mary's Church Dubai and Filipino masses every Friday at 12:30noon on rotation basis.

This morning, the CFC Choir DxB had the grace to serve in song at the 8:00 AM Mass in St. Mary’s. With grateful hearts and united voices, we offered our music as prayer, lifting the congregation closer to God through harmony and praise.

📖 Gospel Reflection — Matthew 28:16–20

In this powerful passage, Jesus gives His disciples the Great Commission:

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations… and behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

This Gospel reminds us that our faith is missionary. We are not called to keep Christ to ourselves but to share Him through our words, actions, and service.

As a choir ministry, this mission comes alive in a special way. Every note we sing, every harmony we build, becomes a way of proclaiming Christ to others. Our singing is not for performance, but for evangelization. Through music, we help hearts listen, souls reflect, and spirits encounter the Lord.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of serving You through music. May every song we offer be pleasing to You and bring Your people closer to Your presence. Today, CFC Choir DxB was blessed to serve at the 12:00 Noon Tagalog Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church Dubai here in Dubai.

As we offered our voices in song, we were reminded through the Gospel that loving God is not only spoken through words, but lived through obedience, service, and faithfulness in our daily lives. Every note we sing becomes a prayer. Every harmony becomes our response to His call to love and serve.

Today’s reflection reminds us that when we choose to follow the Lord, He does not leave us alone. He walks with us, strengthens us, and fills us with His Spirit so we can continue to serve with joy and humility.

We also joyfully congratulate Tita Maan for answering a new calling from the Lord. May this new chapter be filled with grace, courage, and deeper service in His vineyard. Your CFC Choir DxB family is praying for you and cheering you on!

And with warm hearts, we welcome back Tito Glenn! Your presence, talent, and servant heart have been missed. We are grateful to have you back in the choir family.

With grateful hearts and united voices, we offered our music as prayer, lifting every note to the Lord in service to the community.

📖 Gospel Reflection

Gospel according to Book of John 14:15–21

“If you love me, keep my commandments… And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to help you and be with you forever.”

In this Gospel, Jesus reminds us that love for Him is shown through obedience and faithfulness. He promises the gift of the Holy Spirit — our Advocate, our Guide, and our Comforter.

As choir members, this message speaks deeply to our mission. Serving in the choir is not just about singing beautifully; it is about living the commandments, offering our time, and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us so that our music may touch hearts and bring souls closer to God.

Every rehearsal, every sacrifice after work, every Mass we serve is our way of saying:
“Lord, we love You, and we choose to follow You.”
