Saif Chilmiran is a contemporary artist based in Dubai. Specializing in acrylic and oil paintings on linen as well as mixed media installations, his work is best known for its striking use of exaggerated high-contrast colors and dramatic spot lighting. Incorporating coding, digital physics engines and a disciplined understanding of light, shadow, and color theory, Chilmiran pushes the boundaries of traditional media, often integrating technological components into his installations.
 
Chilmiran’s work explores the intersection of Islam & Science fiction, offering both macro and micro perspectives. On a macro level, he examines Islam’s role in space colonization, its relationship to artificial intelligence, and its engagement with extraterrestrial life. On a micro level, he zooms into the Qur’an through the lens of binary data, combining philosophical inquiry with innovative artistic processes. His projects are characterized by their conceptual depth and technical sophistication, making his work both intellectually engaging and visually captivating. Offering a brighter, more expansive vision of Islam—one that stands in defiance of the distortions so often perpetuated by the media.

Camila Schubert is a Brazilian-Italian self-taught painter based in Dubai. After working in cinema and photography, she turned to painting
as the most intimate medium for her artistic practice.
Her work emerges from a direct encounter with the unconscious. Visions arising from this territory unfold into scenes where medieval symbols, alchemical allusions, and echoes of modernity intertwine.
Music, chemistry, and the observation of colours shape the rhythm and atmosphere of each piece.
Her paintings do not seek to explain.
They open mysteries - the same mysteries that gave birth to them. Objects and enigmatic figures appear as suspended presences, drawing the gaze beyond the visible surface and inviting an encounter with what lies deeper.

At SUPERMARKET, she presented 3 new works that are an ongoing body of research and practice.

Rabab Tantawy is an artist working across painting, sculpture, and public art. Her creative practice bridges the commercial and independent art worlds, and she is the founder of Studio Thirteen.
At SUPERMARKET, she presented Blur - a series of works recently created.

In a Blur is a series of works created in response to a moment that feels fast, dense, and difficult to hold.
Figures overlap, compress, and move through each other. Each work existing within that state, unresolved and shifting.
“One day this will feel like a blur maybe this is me already there, looking back hoping it moves faster than it feels”

Highlights from Solimar Miller’s solo exhibition at Foundry, which concluded yesterday.

This new body of mixed-media works traces the shifting landscapes of the UAE, moving between desert interiors and coastal mangroves. Created on cotton and silk velvet, the works capture the subtle transformations of light throughout the day, revealing trees as enduring points of presence within an ever-changing environment.

Through delicate layers of colour, texture, and material, Miller reflects on the relationship between memory, place, and the natural world, inviting viewers to slow down and engage with the quiet rhythms of the landscape.

Highlights from “THE RED DOT” a solo photography exhibition by Eva Losada Membibre.

The Red Dot examines the persistence of a visual motif that has accompanied Eva’s practice since its inception. What began as an accidental occurrence evolves here into a structuring element through which broader questions of perception, authorship, and identity are explored.

Within the exhibition, the red dot functions as both image and signal. It references the apparatus of recording — the camera, the act of capture, the condition of surveillance — while simultaneously pointing to systems of validation and value, where the same symbol denotes the sale and circulation of artworks.
