Foundry opened the exhibition titled Nation 2.0 yesterday as part of Art Dubai 2026, curated by Giuseppe Moscatello.

Conceived as an immersive infrastructural environment, the project brings together a collaborative installation by Sasha Sime and Nation 2.0 alongside works by Fakewhale Studio, Scerbo, and Nation 2.0.

Exploring the intersection of systems, data, infrastructure, and human behaviour, Nation 2.0 unfolds as a speculative landscape shaped by contemporary technologies and evolving mechanisms of control.

Commissioned and produced by Foundry.

In this inaugural episode of The Foundry Show, Anna Seaman sits down with Foundry co-founder Giuseppe Moscatello to reflect on the vision, ideas, and challenges that have shaped Foundry over the past five years.

The conversation explores Foundry’s experimental programming model, its relationship to the rapidly evolving city of Dubai, and the thinking behind building a cultural space that operates outside conventional norms. From questioning traditional exhibition formats to supporting emerging and unconventional artistic practices, the episode examines how Foundry has positioned itself within an increasingly shifting cultural landscape.

Through this dialogue, the episode offers a closer look at the role of cultural spaces today, and the importance of creating platforms that remain flexible, accessible, and open to experimentation.

Foundry presents “THE RED DOT” a solo photography exhibition by Eva Losada Membibre.

The Red Dot examines the persistence of a visual motif that has accompanied Eva’s practice since its inception. What began as an accidental occurrence evolves here into a structuring element through which broader questions of perception, authorship, and identity are explored.

Within the exhibition, the red dot functions as both image and signal. It references the apparatus of recording — the camera, the act of capture, the condition of surveillance — while simultaneously pointing to systems of validation and value, where the same symbol denotes the sale and circulation of artworks.

Foundry presents solo exhibition “Continuum of Light”, a solo exhibition by Solimar Miller.

This new body of mixed media work traces shifting landscapes across the UAE, moving from desert interiors to coastal mangroves. Created on cotton and silk velvet, the works follow the quiet progression of light, where trees emerge as enduring anchors within an ever-changing terrain.

Join us for the opening on 5 May 2026 at 6:30 PM.
