Everytime I create an artwork m reminded of how apt my brand name ‘Meraki by Sahana’ is..
Meraki is the Pride & Love, the essence of us tat we put into our work.. so much of my soul goes into every creation, tat parting with them becomes such an emotional affair.
Ever so grateful for all opportunities tat come my way to create, so thankful to all of those who show their trust and support in my work..This 160cm x 80cm beauty has gone to its forever home to blossom..

Happiness is unboxing brand new set of paint brushes in the new year to start new paintings..
Here is a quick tip: Usually new brushes come coated in a watersoluble glue called sizing tat makes it hard and crusty.. Always dip them in warm water and rinse working the sizing out of the bristles. If you just break the bristles out from the sizing while dry it won’t perform well and will dry hard again..
Also never leave your brushes soaking in water.. always rinse them n lay on a towel to air dry to maximize life out of those brushes.Happy painting peeps!
