Qawwali Network As Sama Merajun Rooh(for a true believer)
The Sama is the meraj of the soul. Keeping Mehfil Sama Al Qawwali Network (QN) was founded by Muhammed Khatib in 2014.

It initially started off as a ‘Whatsapp’ group with a maximum of 30 members. QN now has 3 groups with over 300 members from all around the world. The whole purpose of coming up with QN was to promote Qawwali by sharing various media and to unite all Qawwali lovers by bringing them together onto one platform. One of QN’s main objectives among others is using social media to promote Qawwali and over

the years a Facebook and Instagram account was created. QN is also very active in promoting the language of love and that is done by sharing Urdu couplets. QN continues to promote Qawwali on a daily basis bringing all Qawals from around the world onto one platform. QN also promotes and advertisers Islamic and Cultural functions held around the world, mainly those which Qawwali is performed in. In March 2016 QN was one of the main organizers in hosting ‘Milad Raza Qadri’ (MRQ). With its vast number of members on ‘Whatsapp’ and high follower rate of Facebook and Instagram, QN will continue to promote all Qawals and keep Qawwali alive for centuries to come. Growing up listening to Qawwali, Muhammed Khatib (QN’s founder) sees it as a healthy and spiritual alternative to the other types of Music out there in the world which causes harm especially to youngsters. He now focuses on using Qawwali as a tool to spread Love, Peace and Unity in the world.

Haq Ali Ali | Dildar Hussain & Fanna-Fi-Allah | Birmingham Town Hall

Fanna-Fi-Allah presents a powerful live rendition of Haq Ali Ali (Shahe Mardane Ali), recorded at the historic Birmingham Town Hall during our 2024 UK tour. This timeless qawwali is a devotional praise of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib—the lion of God, embodiment of courage, and fountain of esoteric knowledge in the Sufi tradition.

This piece has been chanted in the spiritual assemblies of South Asia for centuries, a revered dhikr (remembrance) calling out to the nobility and luminous strength of Hazrat Ali.

Sung with deep reverence by the Fanna-Fi-Allah ensemble, the performance features Ustad Dildar Hussain on harmonium —a master of the art who once performed at this very venue alongside Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Now, decades later, he returns with Fanna-Fi-Allah, joined by Abrar Hussain and the full group, carrying forward a living lineage of qawwali tradition.

As part of our 25th Anniversary Tour, this concert reflects not only our musical journey but also our heartfelt commitment to honoring the great masters, our teachers, and the sacred devotional poetry that has guided seekers for generations.
