We almost talked ourselves out of this climb. 😂

Sigiriya Fortress rises dramatically out of the jungle in Sri Lanka, and getting to the top means climbing more than 1,200 steps 😳

Was it hot? Yep.
Was is crowded? Uh, big understatement!!!
Were my legs questioning my life choices? Absolutely.
Was it worth it?

100%.

Somewhere between the ancient frescoes, the Lion’s Paw, the crazy steep stairs, and the views getting bigger with every step, we realized…

this was exactly why we came to Sri Lanka.

The kind of experience that leaves you sweaty, tired, a little shaky—and very, very happy you said yes.
