Today was one of those moments that reminds me why I do what I do.

I had the honor of speaking at Wings of a Dove Christian Academy for Career Day, and I didn’t just talk about becoming an author… I helped these incredible young minds realize that they already have a story inside of them.

We laughed, we imagined, we created… and together, we brought stories to life right in that room.

Because the truth is—
Your story matters.
Your voice matters.
And it’s never too early (or too late) to believe in what’s inside of you.

Moments like this are exactly why I wrote The Secret Keeper… to help children trust their voice, their intuition, and their power.

What a weekend at the BrownGirl Village Summit! 🤎

We teamed up with and to bring the girls an experience full of creativity, confidence, and inspiration—from STEM and entrepreneurship to modeling and self-expression.

One of my favorite moments was hosting a roundtable and read-along of my book, The Secret Keeper: Trust Your Intuition. Seeing these young girls light up, share, and lean into their voices was everything.

Moments like this remind me, when we pour into our girls, they rise in the most beautiful ways.

This weekend, I had the honor of hosting the Brown Girl Village Summit right here in Atlanta—and what an incredible experience it was.

We partnered with It’s Cool to Be Smart to pour into the next generation of young girls through powerful, hands-on workshops focused on STEM, Entrepreneurship, Inner Beauty, and Expressing Their Talents.

One of my favorite moments was sitting down for an intimate roundtable and read-along of my book, The Secret Keeper: Trust Your Intuition. Being able to connect with these young girls, hear their voices, and encourage them to trust what’s already inside of them was truly special.

This is what it’s all about—creating safe spaces, building confidence, and reminding our girls that they are powerful, capable, and worthy of every opportunity in front of them.

My heart is full. And we’re just getting started.

Next stop on my 2026 Coffee Shop Tour: in Midtown, Atlanta ☕️

I absolutely loved the aesthetic of this spot — modern, cozy, and perfect for settling in with a laptop or a good conversation.

I ordered the gingerbread chai latte paired with a warm almond croissant, and let me just say… it was absolutely divine.

There’s plenty of seating for the work-from-home girlies, great energy throughout the space, and the customer service was excellent.

This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to on my Atlanta coffee adventures.

I’ve been on a journey of strengthening my mind, body, and spirit… Being more intentional about caring for myself from the top of my head to the tip of my toes.

Part of that journey is paying attention to what I put in my body and choosing things that support my overall wellness. I’m excited to start taking Black Girl Vitamins and focusing on nourishing my hair, skin, and nails from the inside out.

Self-care isn’t just about what we do on the outside, it’s also about how we fuel ourselves daily.

My friend and I recently visited Sunnyside Pizzeria and had the best time! It’s such a cute, boutique-style spot with delicious pizza and the most fabulous espresso martini.

And here’s the fun part… they let you print your own photo on the foam! Of course I had to print my new children’s book The Secret Keeper: Trust Her Intuition right on top of my martini. Talk about a proud author moment 🥰

This Women’s History Month, I want to celebrate all that we are — the dreamers, the builders, the healers, the leaders, the nurturers, the risk-takers, and the quiet warriors.

Give yourself grace.
