My heart is breaking as I type this.
There is a 13 year old little girl, Winnet Mashiri , lying in Ward A2 at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital.
Who is fighting to recover after being r***d repeatedly by her own father and his friend.
Her mother left after suffering from abuse from the father. The father was left to care for her and her 2 year old brother.
In the absence of the mother, the father took advantage, ra**ng the child until she got pregnant.
She is from Mhondoro, Mashiri Village under Sabhuku Mashiri. She was r***d until she became pregnant. And she has now delivered a baby.
The nurses say she urgently needs a blood transfusion and antibiotics.She doesn't have money.
She doesn't have clothes for the baby, currently the baby has few clothes which were bought by nurses.
They are pleading for help. For well wishers to come through with baby clothes, money for medicine, and blood transfusion.
If you can help, please contact the Hospital PR Officer or the Hospital Matron at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital. She is in Ward A2.
And Zimbabwe Republic Police : the father is known in the village. The community knew. No one stepped in.
Sabhuku Mashiri was told, and he knows the issue. He is the one who stopped people from reporting.
Please, arrest these two men.
